97.3 The Wave Pool

It’s fun for the young and young at heart! The 97.3 The Wave Pool is among the most popular warm weather attractions in Quispamsis and the only public outdoor pool between Hampton and St. Stephen.

We offer daily swims, seasonal memberships for individuals and families, and swimming lessons to meet your recreational needs.

Pool Rules

Important Pool Schedule Notes

The following dates and times do not follow the 2024 qplex Pool Schedule:

June 19 - Pool CLOSED due to private rental
June 20 - Members Swim CANCELLED due to private rental
June 22-23 - East Coast Games - TIDE Swim Meet (Pool schedule resumes June 23 at 1 p.m.)
Mondays and Thursdays between June 27 and July 29 - 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Aquacise Classes - no lap swim

 

It’s really three pools in one!

  • The leisure pool lets you cool off with two waterslides, mushrooms, a vortex and matchstick spray features.
  • The tot pool is nearly 500 square feet of shallow water for easy use by our newest swimmers.
  • The junior Olympic pool has shallow and deep ends and is always ready to host a competition with six lanes and starter blocks.

Pool Memberships

Our seasonal memberships for the 97.3 The Wave Pool include free admission to public, toonie, member and laps swims along with discounted swimming lessons.

  • Between May 1 and May 24, 2024, memberships can be purchased at the qplex administration office ONLY, Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Starting May 27, 2024, memberships can be purchased at the qplex pool office ONLY, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Proof of Quispamsis residency is required upon purchase.

Fees

All prices include taxes and are for one (1) membership only. Proof of Quispamsis residency is required upon purchase.

Senior ( age 60+): $64
General (age 59 and under): $83
Family (four residents from same civic address): $209  (Additional family members: $30/each)

*Children aged 35 months & younger are free for all swims
Caregiver – must be affiliated with a family membership holder, can be a non-resident.
The Town of Quispamsis reserves the right to adjust pricing with minimal notice.

All prices include taxes are for one (1) person, per visit.

Public Swim: $5 **Participants must register in advance.
Toonie Swim & Lap Swim: $2
Free Swim (Lap Swim upon request): FREE

*Children aged 35 months & younger are free for all swims

Swimming Lessons

Registration for swimming lessons begins May 1, 2024.

We want everyone’s water experience to enjoyable and safe. That’s why we offer beginner, intermediate and advanced swimming lessons throughout the summer for children and youths aged 2 to 19.
