Play time in a safe environment is important for all children. The Town of Quispamsis has playgrounds located strategically throughout the community, hosting fun times and creating memories for our cherished young people.
Playgrounds are maintained regularly on a seasonal basis from May to October.

Cedar Ridge 31 Cedar Ridge Blvd
This playground features a swing set, jungle gym, climbing wall and other play structures on sand and natural surfaces. Some usable green space exists adjacent to the play equipment. A short walking trail is also available
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years
- Park benches onsite.
Firefly 5 Firefly Crescent
Located a short walk from the Wheels and Ramps Skateboard Park and Quispamsis Town Hall, the Firefly Playground features an asphalt basketball court, a climbing wall, swings and other structures on sand.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years.
- Firefly Splash Park is located adjacent to the playground.
- Picnic tables and benches onsite.
Goldrush 55 Goldrush Drive
Located a short distance from the qplex, this playground is fenced in with a swing set, slide, seesaw, and other equipment on sand and natural surfaces. The playground is located adjacent to the Trans Canada Trail.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years.
- Park benches are available.
Meenan's Cove 199 Model Farm Road
The playground features swings, a jungle gym, a wavy climbing wall and other structures with a sand surface.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years.
- Benches available onsite.
Nottingham 124 Nottingham Drive
Tucked in at the corner of Nottingham Drive and Robin Hood Lane, this playground features a swing set, multiple slides, climbing structures and monkey bars on sand and natural surfaces. There is also an asphalt basketball court.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years
- Portable washrooms
- Park benches are available on site
Parkside 78 Parkside Drive
Located south of Highway 1, also known as the Mackay Highway, this playground features a swing set, slide, and jungle gym on a sand surface. It also has an asphalt basketball court and other open green space.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years
qplex 20 Randy Jones Way
This playground, situated next to the 97.3 The Wave pool, features two swing sets, a slide, a jungle gym, climbing walls, and various other play structures on a rubber surface. It also has an asphalt basketball court with one basket.
- Recommended for children aged 18 months to 12 years
- Park benches are plentiful!
Ritchie Lake 5 Cedar Grove Drive
The park’s natural playground drew inspiration from the Quispamsis Maliseet First Nation’s People who first inhabited our community.
It features some climbing structures and a spiderweb-style rope crawling net.
- Benches and picnic tables available onsite.
Squire 8 Squire Drive
This playground, just off the Gondola Point Arterial roundabout next to Kings Way Life Care, is a perfect place to meet loved ones for some fun!
It has a climbing structure with several slides, and another piece of equipment, on a sand surface.
- Recommended for children aged 5 to 12 years
- Park benches and picnic tables are available on site
Memorial and Dedication Program
The Town of Quispamsis is proud to offer you the opportunity to help beautify the community while recognizing an individual, occasion or significant event.
The Memorial and Dedication Program allows you to sponsor the purchase and installation of trees or furnishings, like park benches, for use and display in our municipal parks. Dedications can also be purchased for existing infrastructure.
Each Dedication includes commemorative signage written by the donor detailing the sponsorship.
