Quispamsis works with neighbouring municipalities, town departments, local first responders, and regional and provincial agencies to prepare for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from a disaster.
In order to respond quickly and effectively to major emergencies, the town’s Emergency Management Program includes the Emergency Measures Plan, Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), Disaster Management, and education services.
Quispamsis supports effective day-to-day planning, disaster management, training and education. Staff research and prepare appropriate plans and procedures for emergency response.
You can be ready for an emergency by having a plan in place for you and your loved ones.
