Councillor Mike Biggar

Councillor Mike Biggar was elected to his first term in May 2021.

With an array of career and life experiences from ministry to banking to radio, Biggar is perhaps known best in the community for his career as a multi award-winning singer-songwriter.

As a councillor, Biggar draws on his eclectic background, artistic passion, and zeal for local community to help strengthen the progressive council team in efforts to support and grow Quispamsis.

Key areas of personal passion include transportation, housing, infrastructure, equity, inclusion, diversity, and arts and culture.

Biggar serves on the Kennebecasis Valley Joint Board of Fire Commissioners, he is the chair of the Quispamsis Transportation Committee, and vice-chair of the Fundy Regional Transportation Committee.
