The PAC makes recommendations to Council on planning-related matters, like proposed subdivision developments, property rezoning, municipal plan amendments, and zoning amendments.

The Port Saint John Community Liaison Committee (PSJLC) was created to promote ongoing communication and dialogue with groups that have a vested interest in port-related operations and development in New Brunswick.

The committee operates as a collaborative forum where community, industry, and Port Saint John representatives meet to liaise between different groups, share information, identify concerns, and address port-related issues.

P.R.O. KidsOversees program and financial assistance to children in need so that all young people will have the opportunity to participate in the arts, cultural, recreation and sport activity of their choice.

Administered through the City of Saint John, with the region municipalities cost-sharing in the administration costs.

The Committee’s mission will is to initiate goals, track changes, organize community outreach events, provide guidance, make recommendations to Quispamsis Town Council for budget allocation and action items, foster conservation, and ensure sustainable management to maintain the ecological integrity of Ritchie Lake.

In addition, the Committee aims to support the ecological health of the lake while also supporting the interests of residents and stakeholders.

The SJ Arts Board develops and promotes the arts as integral to the vitality of the greater SJ community – embracing originality, diversity and artistic expression.

And further, to make recommendation to the Fundy Regional Service Commission for the amount of the annual operating subsidy to be shared by the four municipalities.

The board meets a minimum of nine times per year.

Reviews applications from Quispamsis students’ graduating from high school, and recommends to Council the award of two (2) $750 bursaries  based on the scholarship criteria.

Consists of 2 elected representatives, one citizen representative and the Director of Community Services.

Established to review the annual budget prepared by Hilton Canada for the operation of the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre, to monitor the operations of the facility pursuant to an agreement between the City of SJ and Hilton Canada and to make recommendation to the Fundy Regional Service Commission for the amount of the annual operating subsidy to be shared by the four municipalities.

The TD Commission’s purpose is to establish policies and guidelines for the management and operation of TD Station including utilizing the facility for sporting, commercial and entertainment activities and other such events that will advance the success of the facility.

And further, to make recommendation to the Fundy Regional Service Commission for the amount of the annual operating subsidy to be shared by the four municipalities.
