Recreation Master Plan unveiled

The final draft of the Town of Quispamsis Recreation Master Plan was unveiled at a presentation to Quispamsis Town Council on May 16.

Following months of analysis, public consultation, open houses, focus groups and staff feedback, the Recreation Master Plan identifies the Town’s recreation requirements and will assist Council and staff in determining future recreation service delivery, investment, and development.

It allows the Town to guide and manage the direction of parks, trails, recreation programs, facilities and amenities over the next ten years.

“We are very excited to have the Recreation Master Plan finalized,” said Director of Community Services Dana Purton Dickson. “This has been a long process, but we are now in a better position to address the recreational needs of our community for the next decade.”
