A reminder from the Fundy Regional Service Commission as we embark on a recycling week:
Recyclables in plastic bags will not be picked up as plastic bags are no longer accepted for recycling.
With your excess recycling you can place it in an additional recycling box, or container that is a similar size (like a Rubbermaid tote). A cardboard box can be used, as well as a paper bag for your papers. Excess cardboard can be bundled and tied.
Folks who stored their recyclables are asked to gradually set out their excess recycling so as not to overwhelm the haulers.
Your efforts are appreciated.
For more information please visit or contact Fundy Regional Service Commission.
Town-wide garbage, compost and bulky item pick-up is contracted to Fero. For more information, please click here.
