Model Farm Road - Landscaping and driveways are being completed.

Old Neck Road - Landscaping and driveways are being completed. 

Palmer Brook Road - A Watercourse and Wetland Alteration (WAWA) permit from the Province of New Brunswick has been received. Expecting to begin work on the installation of a cross culvert near Elliot Road followed by the widening of the roadway to accommodate construction of a slip lane.

All other work identified in the 2024 Street Upgrades program is considered to be completed.

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period.

The Town will make every effort to maintain one lane open at all times or ensure flag persons will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.

Notes

The 2024 Street Upgrades program was expected to operate through the end of September, but has been extended into October. The work is being performed by Galbraith Construction Ltd. A full list of streets identified for upgrades is available here.

The work performed, timelines and streets affected are all subject to change. The public will be notified of any major changes.
