New Work

Roby's Road – Storm sewer installation.

Tulip Court – Replacement of granular material and paving.

Current Work

Brook Street – Paving is complete. Shouldering and driveway reinstatement underway.

Lindsay Street, Cliff Street, McAlpine Drive – Culvert and driveway preparations, grading of granular material and paving.

Hedley Lane cul-de-sac - Paving operations.

Hammond River Park access road and parking lot – Paving is complete.

Meenan’s Cove Road (Cobblestone Drive to Rockefeller Drive) – Clearing and grubbing activities.

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period. The Town will make every effort to maintain one lane open at all times or ensure flag persons will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.

Notes

The 2024 Street Upgrades program is expected to operate through the end of September. The work is being performed by Galbraith Construction Ltd. A full list of streets identified for upgrades is available here.

The work performed, timelines and streets affected are all subject to change. The public will be notified of any major changes.
