Brook Street – paving, shouldering and driveway reinstatements are complete.

Lindsay Street, Cliff Street, McAlpine Drive – Culverts are complete. Driveways and shouldering is underway. Landscaping if required to follow.

Hedley Lane cul-de-sac - paving and shouldering is complete.

Hammond River Park access road and parking lot – paving and shouldering is complete.

Meenan’s Cove Road (Cobblestone Drive to Rockefeller Drive) – clearing is complete with grubbing underway.

Roby's Road – storm sewer installation is nearing completion with reinstatements to follow.

Rynlon Crescent - pulverizing is complete. Removal of poor materials followed by addition of sub-base and base granulars.

Tulip Court – replacement of poor granulars followed by paving.

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period. The Town will make every effort to maintain one lane open at all times or ensure flag persons will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.

Meenans Cove Road will have temporary traffic lights setup for one way traffic.

Notes

The 2024 Street Upgrades program is expected to operate through the end of September. The work is being performed by Galbraith Construction Ltd. A full list of streets identified for upgrades is available here.

The work performed, timelines and streets affected are all subject to change. The public will be notified of any major changes.
