Current Work

Meenan’s Cove Road (Cobblestone Drive to Rockefeller Drive) - Driveway reinstatement, shouldering and landscaping.

Princeton Avenue, Winchester Drive - Backfilling curb; preparing, forming and pouring sidewalk; driveway reinstatement.

Model Farm Road - Storm sewer work will continue along with road reconstruction.

Old Neck Road - Driveway reinstatement and shouldering.

Quispamsis Road (Meadowlark Drive to Nightingale Lane) - Preparing and pouring curb; storm sewer work.

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period. The Town will make every effort to maintain one lane open at all times or ensure flag persons will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.

Meenan's Cove Road will have temporary traffic lights setup for one way traffic.

Motorists are asked to recognize construction zones and refrain from parking in them. Every effort will be made to contact owners whose vehicles are impeding construction work. Motorists are also advised to avoid parking on or blocking right of ways.

Notes

The 2024 Street Upgrades program is expected to operate through the end of September. The work is being performed by Galbraith Construction Ltd. A full list of streets identified for upgrades is available here.

The work performed, timelines and streets affected are all subject to change. The public will be notified of any major changes.
