The contractor, Debly Enterprises Limited will begin the Drainage Improvements 2024 project. Preliminary work such as the installation of construction signage, layout of the work, mobilization of heavy equipment to site and other preparation activities will begin at various locations throughout the Town.

The Drainage Improvements 2024 contract includes multiple streets as follows: Hardwood Crescent, Goldrush Drive, Roberts Lane, French Village Road, Leeswood Drive and the Transcanada Trail at Natureview Drive. The work being performed includes the replacement of culverts, the installation of structures, rock placement for erosion control and the construction of a berm along the trail.

Landscaping and driveways will be restored at the end of the project. 

Detours

While it is anticipated the duration of construction on each street will be limited, motorists are advised to expect traffic delays during the construction period. The Town will make every effort to maintain one lane open at all times or ensure flag persons will be on site to direct traffic through the construction area.
