Hammond River Park Master Plan Update Sept. 12

The Town of Quispamsis and its consulting partners are providing an update on the Hammond River Park Master Plan next week.

The update is scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 4-7 p.m. at the Meenan’s Cove Beach House.

The Town acquired land adjacent to the park in early 2024 with visions of expanding the park and adding to its amenities while maintaining the natural beauty that exists within the space.

Initial public consultations in person and online were held in April. The September 12 update will include summaries of that feedback and more opportunities to provide input.

Once finalized, expansion plans are expected to be implemented in phases over several years.
