PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO TOWN OF QUISPAMSIS’ MUNICIPAL PLAN BY-LAW NO. 054 AND ZONING BY-LAW NO. 038

Public Notice is hereby given that the Quispamsis Town Council has been requested to and intends to consider amending “By-law No. 054; A By-law of the Municipality of Quispamsis Respecting the Quispamsis Municipal Plan”, pursuant to Section 24 of the Community Planning Act of New Brunswick,  and  the Town of Quispamsis Zoning By-law No. 038  in order to rezone the following property from Rural (RU) to Neighbourhood Commercial (NC).

A parcel of land, identified as Civic Number 86 Meenan’s Cove Road, with PID No. 30290175, consisting of 4330 sq. meters, (1.07 acres) of the 6534 sq. meter, (1.61 acre) parcel.  The remainder of the parcel is proposed to retain its current Rural (RU) Zone designation.

REASON FOR CHANGE: To permit the construction of and operation of an Early Learning Childcare Centre, (Little Blossoms Learning Centre), providing service for up to 60 children between the ages of 15 months to 12 years, (Afterschool Program).

A Public Hearing of the proposed amendments will be held October 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., in the council chambers of the Quispamsis Town Hall, 12 Landing Court, Quispamsis, New Brunswick.

Written objections to the proposed amendment may be made to the Council in care of the undersigned, and submitted by 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

The plans for the proposed amendment may be inspected by any interested person during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday inclusive, at the Quispamsis Town Hall.
